Description

I'm 33 years old, Scottish, female, social worker, artist, outdoorsy, practical, love cooking, hiking, fixing things, animals, baking bread, travelling.

I spent the lockdown working with adults with learning difficulties and converting a van to live in. I was rescued by a dog called Moonie! Now we are travelling together. I have always worked with people but I want to work more with animals and/or plants now... I also do massage, cut hair and tattooing. I am obsessed with dogs! I am very interested in learning more about animal behaviour. My background is in social work but I have been wanting to work with animals for a long time now. I have come back to Italy because before lockdown I was here with my motorbike, I flew back to Scotland for a visit and then couldn't get back because of covid. So finally I am back, this time with a van and a dog too, to collect my motorbike and travel a bit and if I can get some experience working with animals, and/or in gardens I will be so happy!

I love to make things, to build things, to travel,
gardening, cooking and nature.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have volunteered in dog rescue shelters in Scotland over the course of a year, mainly with cleaning and dog walking. I have looked after other people's dogs when they go away. I helped rescue and rehome a stray dog we found in Sardegnia.

I spent last few years doing gardening and conservation work, supporting adults with learning disabilities to do this too. Previously I have worked in women's refuges, with homeless people, with children and young people in care, with children affected by parental drug misuse, etc.

I also have experience in labouring, building, painting and decorating and I've done kitchen work in the past too.
