Hey there!

I'm Michèle, 22 years old and currently travelling NZ.
Nice to meet you!
I always loved travelling. last year I started off solo travelling by doing Interrail in July and August.
It made me way more courageous to go off and travel by myself.
Then in October-November I went for a backpacking trip to Canada, where I also did 2 workaways.
it's such a great opportunity to live with locals and get to know the culture and way of living.

While I was on my trip around Europe, I met my lovely partner Che in a hostel, who is now my travel partner.

We lived in Taupō for 3,5 months and worked in a restaurant there.
After we finished work we went for a roadtrip around the North Island before moving down to Christchurch.

we are both really hard working, reliable and motivated !

We would love to do some voluntary placements in nice places.

I'd love to learn Spanish ! I try to teach myself but it would be so good to have a language buddy to help me with pronunciation and grammar and how to build sentences. other languages I'd like to learn are greek, Italian, maori, swedish and latin.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since 5 years, I've been working as a waitress and I love it!
It really made me more outgoing and open and better at small talk.
What I love most about it is meeting many different people and having an enjoyable time while serving them.

I've also did an apprenticeship in an office before but I don't like sitting for 8 hours a day and having a monotonous working day. But now I've got good knowledge in Excel and a few other programs, so I'd be happy to help with that as well. (as long as it's not 8 hours haha)

Also I really like nature and especially plants. I do have some house plants that seem very happy with my skills and care :)
Sadly I do not have that much experience with animals, except I have a cat, but I am open to learn how to care for other animals as well.
