Hi! My name is Michela and I'm a 19 italian girl. I graduated from language high school this year (2024) and I decided to take a gap year (2024/2025) before enrolling in University.
My intention is to make the most of this year by travelling to different countries, exploring different cultures and engaging in various activities and experiences that will teach me a lot. Considering that I studied English, Spanish and French in high school, I will take advantage of this year to improve my language skills; in addition, I am more likely to take part in projects that involve nature and animal care, as I'm oriented to enroll in a biology faculty at University.
I like art, studying, reading, listening to music, learning new things and above all travelling.
I've participated in a project with workaway in Spain and I loved it! I intend to continue traveling using workaway to meet new people and learn languages and cultures.
Overall I'm an hard-working person that wants to learn new skills by engaging in Workaway experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As I'm very young and I went to high school until this year, I don't have much working experience, nevertheless I engaged in seasonal jobs (as a waitress) during the summer in the last three years (summer is the only time of the year without school; I started working three years ago because in Italy the legal age for a work contract is 16).
Altough I have limited work experience, I'm hard-working and I learned, through the three jobs I had, organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to work in team.
Most of all I'm eager to learn from my host therefore I hope to find hosts willing to teach me their knowledge.
