Ciao a tutti.
I love travelling, meeting people , experiencing other cultures and have a positive outlook to life.

My ideal workaway placement would be a hosting opportunity with someone who wanted help with studying English language , house or pet sitting or elderly companion and also with a good internet connection.

I am honest, practical, trustworthy , clean, tidy, reliable ,fun loving, have a good sense of humour (or so I think) and I am a native English speaker . I also speak Italian to intermediate level but would like to improve . if only my Italian was good enough to understand inspector montalbano .... but perhaps nobody's Italian is good enough !

Conservation, sport, art, history, animals and nature are particularly important to me and I have just started learning pottery and working as a film extra.

I am a professional computer IT consultant and work for one of the UK's major Banks. my hobbies are sports , walking, yoga ,pottery and doing film extra work. I have five children who are all now all independent adults and as I approach retirement age wish to travel more. My father was English (Cornish) and my mother Italian. I would love to experience more of beautiful Italy , it's people , art, history, it's food of course and hopefully to improve my Italian.

I am physically fit, love sport and most outdoor activities like walking, cycling and swimming in the sea. I go to the gym for yoga or training almost every day. On weekends I regularly go walking in the beautiful Dorset countryside or along cornwalls equally beautiful coastal path with members of the UK Ramblers.

I have provided English conversation classes to adults at an English language school in Italy in the past.

I studied Zoology at university and other interest are art, history, ceramics/pottery, swimming, chess, backgammon, kayaking, cycling, table tennis, cafe culture and the seemingly never ending task of trying to improve my Italian. However I am also very happy just relaxing and enjoying la-dolce vita.
