Last summer I did a Workaway in Australia with my sister and we loved it. Now that she’s back at uni, I want to do a solo Workaway before starting university in Germany.

Description

I’m excited to start a new chapter in my life. I love traveling, exploring new cultures, and embracing the present moment. I’m cheerful, solution-oriented, and enjoy sharing ideas. I’m passionate about cooking, spending time outdoors, being around animals, and connecting with others.

I studied at a German school in southern Chile, which allowed me to learn the language early on. Later, I spent three months in Germany on a student exchange during my 11th grade. Going back now feels very special to me — a way to reconnect and settle in before starting my bachelor’s degree in Nutrition.

After a memorable Workaway in Australia with my sister María, who is now back at university, I’m looking forward to a solo adventure this time.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I enjoy working on remodeling projects, especially painting, and I’m always open to learning new skills like basic carpentry. I also enjoy gardening and taking care of plants, and I follow instructions carefully.

Cooking is one of my favorite things to do, both sweet and savory dishes. I like experimenting with healthy ingredients and making meals that are both nourishing and delicious. I feel comfortable taking initiative when needed, but I also really enjoy being part of a team and sharing tasks with others.

I get along very well with children and animals, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, making sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for :)

I also have experience attending to customers, as I’ve helped several times in my family’s business; a veterinary clinic and pet shop in southern Chile. My mom is a veterinarian and my dad sells pet food, so I grew up in that environment. Through this, I developed strong communication skills, learned how to handle responsibility, and became confident in offering support to both people and animals.

I’m the youngest of three siblings and have always lived closely with my family, which made me value quality time and good communication. I enjoy warm, respectful environments and love building genuine connections with others.

I’ve done two Workaway experiences so far in Australia, one in a botanical garden with a café, and another on a horse farm, and both taught me a lot about work, independence, and embrace the present moment.
