Hello everyone!

My name is Mel. I'm a 26 years old multimedia journalist & documentary filmmaker from Belgium/Germany, a passionate and adventurous traveler (the more remote the better), an absolute animal lover, a volunteer in many different social sectors and a positive human being.

Currently, I am looking for a project close to the ocean, either volunteering in a Surf Camp or at an animal shelter.
I am hardworking, easygoing, always happy and a very social person. I can help with anything where help is needed - preferably in the area of hospitality (I was a waitress for 7 years), being a social host would be completely my thing.
But obviously also everything that has to do with photography, videography or Social Media I am happy to help. (I will also bring my own gear, good camera & drone)
I am also the biggest animal lover, I was born and raised on a farm. I had my own horses, cows, dogs, bunnies, chickens and cats. So, also in this area, I can help.

I am still working as a freelance videographer and have some project to finish while volunteering at your place. That's why I can't offer to work more than 5 hours a day. Though, I am flexible. I can work one day 12+ hours, if I get the next day off. As you prefer. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

What I have to offer:
-Tons of experience with childcare (16 months of Aupairing in AU - references available & being a scout leader since 4 years)
-A 'can do' and 'nothing is impossible' attitude
-Animal experience: I do horse riding since I can think. I had my own horse for 8 years - I can clean stables and everything what comes with it & I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Belgium & I worked on a cattle station in Australia - taking care of the 15 dogs was my main task.
I love every animal and I have experience with all different sorts
-Media skills: I can help you with pictures, social media or anything else if needed
-At the age of 18 I started to travel and since then I never stopped. I'm a very open minded person and I'm always deeply interested in every person I meet. Experiencing different cultures and meeting people is what I live for.
-language skills: fluent - German & English

Learning Dutch & Russian
-Lots of smiles and a very responsible and caring personality
- I love making fun, but also working hard. (As a self employed journalist & student I work 12h/day everyday) I also love deep discussions about the world
