Description
I have a master's degree in sustainability science, and recently quit my job as energy consultant. This September, I am moving to Taiwan in hopes of improving my Mandarin, connecting with the local environmental community, and hopefully staying more long-term! I therefore hope to make lasting connections with different projects in Taiwan.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Over the years, I have gained experience working on organic and permaculture farms in Sweden, France and Taiwan. Apart from agricultural work, I also enjoy being creative; I have a good amount of experience in graphic design and also knit and crochet a lot. I am interested in improving my woodworking skills and learn more about sustainable construction methods.

I stayed with Uncle Tian for a little over a week, and got to learn a lot from him about what it‘s like to run an organic farm in Taiwan. I also won‘t forget all the delicious fruits and other farm products I got to try! (I especially liked the candied Luoshenhua). I stayed in Ruisui for six days and had a very good experience. My job was mainly to pick coffee beans, which becomes very enjoyable if you download a few podcasts to listen to while working (in the emd I wanted to pick longer just to be able to listen to more podcasts). Juliane stayed with us for a week. She is friendly, hard-working, curious and independent, and we get along very well! We (Juliane & Olivia) have a lot in common.
