My name is Megan and I am a 25 year old from Edinburgh Scotland. I graduated from my Masters Degree in 2023 and I have been working in hospitality up until recently. I live at home with my parents, my two younger sisters and our dog Hamish.

I have recently started learning Spanish at a local language school. This has become a key hobbie of mine and I hope to one day be able to confidently converse in the language. Furthermore, I really enjoy sport and exercise, in particular going to the gym, running and hiking. This is a big outlet for me and brings a lot of enjoyment to my life.

I love traveling and meeting new people which is a big motivator for me looking to take part in this experience. I love experiencing and learning about new cultures. I have travelled to many countries in Europe, North America and South East Asia and I hope to add to all these experiences by learning more about Spanish life.

Last year I started taking Spanish lessons at a local language school alongside my full time job. This is main motivation for me in doing a Workaway as I would like to expand on my Spanish and gain confidence in speaking the language.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have many experiences and abilities. Since I have started learning Spanish I have wanted to truly immerse myself in Spanish culture. I hope that by taking part in this experience I can engage and converse with Spanish people, learning more about the language and the culture.

Further to this, I love being in nature, whether this is through hiking, camping or weekends away up north. Spending so much time outdoors and learning about nature in a way I haven't before is really exciting to me and is something I want to fully engross myself in.

I am a very athletic person who can do lots of manual work. I have also had many experiences working and caring for you people. This was especially the case in 2019 when I spent two months working at a Salvation Army Summer Camp.

I am extremely hard working and dedicated person with a great dedication for learning new things.
