Hello!
My name is Meabh, I am an outdoorsy, athletic, vegan, animal lover who is very excited to be exploring Germany! A few years ago I lived out of a car for two weeks while travelling across Canada. The following year I quit my job and moved to Ireland. Ever since I've been itching to get out and see more of the world! One of my favorite things to do is to explore new places!
I've been working hard for the past two years to be able to quit my job and go explore new places via workaway this coming autumn. My first destination with workaway will be Germany! I'm hoping to have new experiences, meet new people, gain new skills, explore the city and learn more German! I'd love to help out with animals in particular, but I am happy to help with any task that needs to be completed!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am Fluent in English and in French and would be more than happy to help someone learn or practice either of these languages. I am athletic, outdoorsy and I love animals. I grew up on a hobby farm with donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs and more, so I am experienced in caring for animals and I love to do so.
I worked in a daycare for 3 years and I have a young sister myself, so I am experienced in looking after children. I also did some tutoring in Mathematics and French.
I have painted walls and stained wood. I have no formal experience with construction or such, but I have done some odd jobs, such as helping to build a chicken coop and I like to work with my hands. I also pick up skills quickly, so I would be more than happy to help out with projects that are more labor intensive.
I've also partook in planting and caring for both vegetable and flower gardens as well as tree planting projects and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. In addition to this I have a lot of work experience in customer service jobs and in cleaning.
Furthermore, I am always happy to learn new skills. If there is something that you need help with, that I don't have experience with, I am definitely up for the challenge of learning whatever skills I may be lacking!
