Hola, salut and hello!

I'm Maya from Germany, 33 years old, a passionate traveler and looking for Workaway experiences in South America!

A bit about me: I am an outgoing and friendly person. I enjoy painting or drawing, singing, hiking, reading, doing yoga and cooking. I love being in nature and with animals, discovering new places and meeting new people!

I am a studied teacher for French and Design but my second passion is travel (I traveled a lot and worked in this industry for a year now). Right now I am looking for my own path in life and wanted to finally fulfill my dream of traveling south America for more than just a couple of weeks, to get in touch with locals and to get to new new cultures. I am a hard working person and not afraid of getting my hands dirty. I am a clean, organized and reliable person and I respect other peoples properties - you can always count on me!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As I am a teacher for French, I am strong in languages (also German, English and Spanish) and to teach others. I am very good with people and children and have a strong sense of community.

I am also artistically skilled, have a steady hand I can paint and draw and also know how to use digital design programs.

My manual skills aren't bad either and I know how to use a drill or a hammer.

I am a pretty good cook (I think :-P) and I love to create tasty meals out of what nature provides us with.

I also really like photography and I am looking forward to do this during my time in South America.

I am interested in plants and love making new discoveries!

I love dogs and when I finally decide to head back home, my plan is to get one on my own.

I come from a town in Germany where Carnival is a really big thing, so I do love dressing up and singing all our traditional songs during the season!
