Hello! i am 22 year old university student from Australia. For me the main motivation to do workaway is to meet new people and discover different ways of living. My first experience with workawayer was in British Columbia, Canada and that was a great experience meeting locals and the great family there. I like to learn and develop new skills and have new experiences. I believe the best way to learn about the nations culture is to work amongst the people that make it.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've picked up a lot of skills from various jobs and activities I've done over the years. Here a few:
-From my previous job at the hospital working in maintenance, I've worked in gardens helping sustain the beautiful gardens around the hospital. Also I'm involved in cleaning in the plant rooms in the hospital as well as other handy work throughout the hospital.
I have intermediate to expert beekeeping skills since working with my uncle and his beekeeping business. Also know tie downs and truck knots to semi-trailers.
- I have worked at a summer camp in North Carolina. As a result I've gained tremendous confidence in looking after kids, staying active and having fun! at a summer camp and feel comfortable with kids and staying active!
- I've worked in multiple retail and fast food stores and know how to deal with the fast paced high workload.

Some of my interests are in sports, I participate and really enjoy the art of boxing. A main pastime of mine now whenever I'm not too busy is listening to podcasts or sometimes audiobooks. I've yearned to learn more about history since first listening to the podcast History of Rome, which lead me to another podcast I'm listening to now 'Revolutions' where I've learned about English, American, French, and Haitian revolutions. I like writing and jotting down anything that comes to mind in my journals like history and personal stuff. Like most millennials, I've gotten into gaming as a pass time and can look pretty skilled with my shots. With all these hobbies I've learned and enjoyed I've managed to keep myself level-headed, keen, and excited for stuff in my future. Mainly now I'm loving wildlife, specifically with bees for which I have a great passion for as the pollinators of our land.
