Description

Hello! I am a mixed race young man (Taiwan/British), who is passionate about travelling, mindfulness/ meditation, music, nature, hiking, snowboarding and much more! I worked hospitality jobs for 5 years around the world, then moved to Gardening/ landscaping to make a healthy change to my lifestyle. I am very opened minded and really enjoy having all sorts of conversations, from philosophical to silly. I love to find meaningful human connection through being vulnerable, open and honest about the challenging aspects of life, as well as the joy of being. Cultivating awareness and presence moment to moment throughout my day is something that drives me. I have spent the last four years in the southern hemisphere, three yrs in New Zealand and one in Australia.

I love the different ways of communicating and labeling the world we live in. I am fortunate to have been raised with two languages in the house hold, giving me an early understanding of the power and importance of language. I am very interested in learning Spanish in the coming years.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have five years of hospitality experience, almost all of which in cocktail bars, as I travel. Five years to practice social skills such as networking, active listening, negotiating , clear communication, having a calm presence in fast paced environment and managing people. I enjoy training staff to keep them (and myself!) engaged by encouraging growth and confidence. My management experience came from running a Whisky bar in Queenstown - NZ. My empathetic nature means I am patient person and I pride myself on my ability to listen and give non-judgmental space for others.

I also have over two years of Landscaping/ Gardening experience in both Australia and New Zealand. My hard work ethic meant in both companies I worked for I gained a high level of trust and respect from the owner. This led to independently working on properties, training new employees and being entrusted with a work van installed with expensive equipment.

My desire for personal growth has made me determined and hungry for fresh opportunities. I love to learn through direct experience and applying my skill set in new ways. This has been a theme in my life. Migrating at a young age taught me how to adapt to new environments and sparked the passion to travel the world as much as possible, which I have gone on to do. I am a very curious and creative person who loves new challenges and experiences.
