Hi,

We are Max and Rebeca. We are an Italian-Panamanian couple and we are currently exploring different places to find what we hope to be our forever home. Our next destination is the province of Cadiz, Spain.

We are nature lovers. We love the ocean, gardening, and making art. And we aim to live a simpler and more sustainable life.

Max is a woodcarver artist who has been passionate about creating with his hands ever since he was a child. He also studied Agricultural Sciences in Northern Italy, where he is from, and has always been used to gardening and doing DIY projects with his family. Max also enjoys hiking and exploring new places, but most of all, fishing and spending time by the ocean.

Rebeca is a yoga teacher and an herbalism enthusiast. She used to live in Panama City, where she grew up but has been on the lookout for a place where she can build a life that is in more harmony with nature. She is friendly and warm, and seeks to make life a more enjoyable experience for herself and others. She also loves to spend time surrounded by nature and sunsets at the beach.

We hope to be of service with our skills, to continue growing and learning, and to help in any way we can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- GARDENING: Max studied Agricultural Sciences. He came to Panama to volunteer at a small farm in Bocas del Toro and gained experience in tropical permaculture. Shortly after a couple of months, he was offered the opportunity to work as a supervisor managing volunteers and assigning activities. As for Rebeca, she has been immersing herself in the world of plants and herbs to learn more about their medicinal uses.

- DIY PROJECTS: Max is a woodworker and loves to give a second life to unused items.

- YOGA & MEDITATION: Rebeca is a 200hr certified yoga teacher. Her main practices are slow flow, hatha yoga, meditation, self-inquiry, and journaling.

- BLOG WRITING & TRANSLATION: Rebeca was a Content Writer & Editor for an e-commerce company in Panama City. She has also worked as a freelance ghostwriter creating inspiring and empowering content for small businesses and podcasts. And she is currently translating a book as a freelance translator.

- WOODWORKING: Max is an artistic woodcarver who creates unique pieces such as cutting boards, serving trays, jewelry, spoons, and much more. He also has a 1-year long experience working with a fine furniture maker.

- ART & CREATIVITY: We both enjoy exploring our artistic side and making art.

- COOKING: We love to blend our Italian and Panamanian cuisines and, whenever possible, we like to explore new recipes from other countries. Max has developed a good sense of savory food while Rebeca enjoys baking healthy and delicious treats.

- TEFL: Rebeca is certified to Teach English as a Foreign Language and has taught English as a volunteer in El Chorrillo and helped as a substitute teacher in a high school.

Rebeca loves to have a cup of tea while journaling or reading a book. In her 20s, she worked as volunteer with TECHO, building emergency houses in impoverished communities. She also worked for Global Brigades as an interpreter in a medical brigade in Darien.

Max has various interests and passions. He is curious about nature and what surrounds him. He likes to end his day with some creative outlet such as woodcarving and playing the guitar.

We both love listening to roots and music genres that fuse folk sounds. We enjoy being in community, sharing laughter and stories.
