Ciao a tutti! I'm Mattia, an Italian guy from the beatiful city of Bergamo. I live my life in the name of novelty and I consider traveling the maximum expression of this spirit. My greatest passions are nature, spirituality and literature. I also love photography and use it to capture the beauty and the cullture of the places I visit. My goal in traveling is to learn about myself, expand my worldview, and learn about new cultures and people. I'm very interested in local spiritual traditions and mithology. One of my best qualities is the ability to challenge myself and my beliefs, making me very open to learning and able to adapt to every situation. I like to stay in the open and I'm not scared of physical labor or harsh weather.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
The fields in wich I have more experience are farming and gardening, I took care of different animals and I know how to use a grass trimmer and other basic tools.
I have been in three different farm for one three month each:
the first mainly focused on goats but also had two hores, in the period in which I was there the goat's kids were born and I fed them with a baby bottle. I also helped in making cheese and cleaned the stalls;
the second had chickens, rabbits, a vegetable garden and some grapes;
in the third I mostly spent my time cleaning and selecting potatoes but also dealt with goats.
I also worked for six months in a vivarium, cleaning plants from weeds and helping in keeping everything clean and tidy.
I've also attended a garden design course so I can help with organizing a garden both from an aesthetic and functional point of view.
Lastly, I worked three months in a German hotel, cleaning dishes and also sometimes helped cleaning rooms.
I've also had some lifechanging experiences volunteering in both spiritual centers and ecological communities. In general my main task were to clean pots, dishes and the kitchen, and take care of the garden. Sometimes I also helped in general maintenance and in cleaning rooms and bathrooms.
I spent four months at Lama Tzong Khapa Buddhist institute in Pomaia were I have participated every day to group meditation and on weekends in courses and retreats, deepening, also through books and an interview with the Lama, my knowledge in Tibetan Buddhism. I then had other experiences, all lasting approximately one month:
Albagnano healing center: I participated in a two week course on buddist colture;
La Colomb'era ecovillage: I helped in cleaning woods for chestnut collection and then helped in the collection itslef. I also helped cleaning and organizing during an event;
Reconstructor Monk: a christian community were I helped in olive collection;
I Melesi ecovillage: I took care of two cows and some goats, also taking them out to graze. I also helped in renowating and cleaning.

I love animals, I live with three cats and I want to adopt a dog when I will have the opportunity to allow him to have a happy life. I eat everything and would like to learn a bit more about cooking , I have some basic skills like preparing pasta or cutting vegetables. I'm passionate about philosophy and psychology and love to debate on any teme, being alwais open to learn new views and share my ideas. My dream is to become a writer and a poet, telling the world and people through my unique worldview.
