Hi! My name is Matilde and I am 22 years old. I have been traveling and volunteering on and off for the past 3 years.
At the moment my biggest wish is to learn:) I want to get into more bodywork (to learn about mind and body connection) and deepen my yoga practice. I would love to learn from other passionate souls and give back by being a helping hand wherever I could be needed. Permaculture and herbalism are also big passions for me that I would love to get more knowledge about. Generally I would just be so grateful to learn anything that anyone would want to share with me.
I love joining projects that I can put my heart into and through passion create great things. The past 3 years I have gotten a lot of experience with volunteering on various different projects. This has changed my life completely and I am very grateful for all the experiences I have gotten, people I have met and things I have learned. I have among others volunteered in several communities around Europe (helping with gardening, construction, cooking ect.), in an animal shelter in Costa Rica and in a Yoga retreat center in Greece:)
I care deeply about sustainable living and have done my best to travel this way over the years. This has thought me a lot about how less can be more and how the most beautiful experiences are the ones that benefit all - even the planet.
I am also trying to live a more sustainable life internally and am therefore slowing down my ways of traveling. I cherish taking time to ground my self wherever I am so I really can put energy into my passions, to learn from the people and places that surround me and to give back from an honest place inside of me. The resent years I have also explored my creativity a lot and enjoy creating things with my hands. I love crocheting, sewing, drawing and I write quite a lot which all brings me so much joy and connects me to other beautiful souls.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Childcare🌞
I have worked as a babysitter for many years and have worked in both a nursery and a kindergarten for some time. I connect a lot with children and love seeing eye to eye and being creative with them.

Permaculture🍄
This is a point I am very passionate about. I learned quite a few things while volunteering in a permaculture project in Asturias with very dedicated and loving souls and also helping a couple in their garden in Galicia. Yet I don't have much experience in it but would love dedicate a lot of time and attention to learn about sustainable farming.

Construction🔨
I love the idea of creating things with my own hands and am gathering more experience and knowledge of it over the years. At home I build a workshop from the scratch with my dad and learned a lot about all the little details of building a cabin out of only reused materials. Tho this is a point that I too don't have a lot of experience in but would love to learn more about.

Animal Care🦥
I have had dogs my whole life and I love animals with all of my heart. I have volunteered in Costa Rica at a huge animal rescue center where the main jobs were taking care of the dogs.

Teaching🌙
I have done charity work in my home town working at a place for vulnerable young people where I was a tutor. In high school my main subject was English and I would say I have a great level of English which I would be able to teach others.

Creativity🌈
I love being creative and exploring the capabilities of my mind. I write a lot and draw sometimes. I also sew and crochet clothes and other things. Nothing professional but extremely open to learning and challenging my skills.

I am very open and ready to learn new skills and take on various tasks to help on some amazing projects.
