Description
Hi there! We are a French couple, Mathilde 28yo and Jessie 30yo. We will be travelling to New Zealand mid-September 2024. We are coming for one year on a Working Holiday Visa. Excited to explore New Zealand's nature, wildlife and culture. We will arrive in Auckland and will be looking for a host family in the area. This is our first time as helpers but we are used to work in different kinds of environments. We are also very used to live with people as we've spent the last five years travelling and working around Australia, often living in shared houses or hostels. We both have working experience in different farming jobs (plant nurseries and fruit farms) and hospitality jobs (housekeeping, cleaning and food handling). We are happy to help you with whatever jobs you need help with and willing to learn new skills if needed. Just arriving in New Zealand, we won't have a car so it would be easier if your place is near public transport.
About us :
Mathilde enjoys cooking, creating recipes, writing, reading, yoga. Jessie likes baking, doing jigsaw puzzles, going to the gym. We like movie nights, board games and travels.
We are both vegetarians. We do not smoke and drink only occasionally/rarely.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We have worked in different fruit farms (berries, cherries, avocado, lemon, truffles…) doing some picking, packing, weeding, pruning. We have also worked in a plant nursery.
We have experience working for an accommodation and catering company. We have done some housekeeping, detailed and deep cleaning ; have worked in kitchens as dining room attendants, kitchen hands, dishwashers.
