Hi !

We are looking for travelling adventures to learn, meet, discover, and serve, most specifically in missions and environments close to farming and nature, with side opportunities and quests to learn on generational renewal in agriculture; and on the printed sector.

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞) - We have been together for 8 years and after 4 years in our respective jobs, it is a time for a common project brining us back to nature and new genuine human interactions.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭? - A clear vision, but not a set-in-stone itinerary. We decided to leave our homeplace in France (resigning from our jobs, leaving our house…) for a duration of 1 year, with the objective to work on farms across few countries in Asia, North America (and depending on the evolution of our time schedule, South America).

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬? – After Sebastien’s experience in connection with many young farmers across Europe, we would like to take a step back, look at other continents, in order to meet and work with farmers, learn on-the ground practices, and gain inspiration about the human aspect for the future of our food systems.

𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝟐 “𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬” - Mathilde has evolved in the printing sector, working on a diversity of projects (books printings, companies communications, sustainable conception of printed material) in the family company. It has been a fantastic journey as an entrepreneur, and at a crossroad between learning from her parent’s experience and fighting to foster new strategies, new ideas on the use and transformation of paper.

Sébastien has been advocating for the interest of Europe's Young Farmers (CEJA, European Council of Young Farmers), towards the European Union's institutions in Brussels. It has been a fascinating multicultural experience to be able to work as a link between Europe’s young farmers and the so called “EU bubble” in Brussels, in contact with agri-food policy-makers (European Commission, European Parliament, European Council…) and stakeholders.

𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 – Mathilde likes to dance, Sébastien plays the guitar in a rock band. For 5 editions, we have been organising a music festival on the pasture of the family farm. We love cooking, hiking, sports (running, gym…), going for road-trips with a simple tent, music concerts, crafting at home, and simply, as generic as it might sound meet with friends on a very regular basis in bars, restaurants, parties.

𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 – on our free time, we would be keen to meeting certain national and local actors of the farming sector, striving for generational renewal, such as public administration, farmers organisations, chambers of agricultures, NGOs. Mathilde would also be interested in any developments related to the print industry.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

thanks to my differents experiences, jobs : I am a sociable person. I am smiling, nice and so funny. I love to laugh and take care of children. I practice dancing and I love to dance with them. For me, dancing is a way of removing embarrassment and creating a relationship
I know to cook and I like helping my boyfriend to pick vegetables from his kitchen garden.

I do not have any particular skills but I am very curious and I love learning new things.

My main hobby over the last few years has been to play music (guitar) in a band, and as a consequence the organisation of a home-made music festival on the pasture of our family farm in the North of France.
