Hello!

I'm Martina, a 23-year-old from Italy with a degree in Physics. I have a deep love for nature, especially water—I'm definitely a water person and just need to be near it to feel happy. I also love animals, as I grew up surrounded by them, and I enjoy almost all kind of sports. Another passion of mine is singing and playing the guitar.

I love to try new things with new people, I love adventures and challenges. I really like learning, learning about new cultures and their history as well as learning new skills, especially in crafts and manual work. I usually learn pretty fast :)

I have travelled a lot solo, but up to now only in Europe. I am really looking forward to discover new places, and I want to do it with workaway because I think it's a more respectfull, sustainable and fulfilling way of travelling.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Having been raised both in the countryside and in a big city, I’d say I’m quite the jack-of-all-trades. In the countryside, I grew up with a garden and animals—horses, dogs, and bees—that I helped take care of. Whenever something broke, my parents taught me to learn how to fix it myself, and I even had experience working in grape harvesting.

On the other hand, I’ve also worked as a waitress, so I’m comfortable interacting with clients and handling cleaning tasks.

Thanks to my studies in physics, I’m quite confident in using computers and basic software programs as well.
