Olá! My name is Marta and I'm a 29 year old Portuguese girl.

Travelling has become a very important part of my life, I feel that whenever I travel, I return home less materialistic and more appreciative of the things I have :) I love getting in touch with other cultures, languages, ways of thinking, and ways of living. I also believe that my way of travelling has changed throughout the years. Now, I look for longer journeys with the minimal plan possible. I like to let things happen, observe how I am feeling and follow my guts. I love challenges and I am always looking for a good adventure :)
I usually say that, if possible, I want to travel to a city and be able to enjoy life there, long enough, until I get to know the lady that sells me the bread :)

I am passionate about meeting new people. I find it very inspiring to listen to other people’s stories and points of view. That’s also why I am really into learning languages, I feel that this is a great way to create new relationships and promote empathy among people. I am a beginner, and would really like to improve, my french and german.

Apart from meeting new people, I cherish my friendships with all my heart. I love to spend time with my friends, either on a one to one connection or as a group dynamics. We often go to concerts together, go out dancing, have movie sessions at one another’s place, go for walks around the city, and Lisbon is a very welcoming city to do all this!

I am also a fan of outdoor activities like yoga, rock climbing, bike riding, swimming and I would love to be better at surfing ahahah I enjoy very much the sun - whenever I can, I am at the beach!

I consider myself to be very organized, hardworking, straightforward and positive person! It doesn't take much to keep me smiling all day :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am very handy, I like to understand how things work and especially, I like to understand why aren’t things working ahahah

I always prefer to fix something rather to buy it new. I really like second hand things: clothes, furniture, accessories, even if sometimes they need to be mend or restored with love. I like working with wood, painting and sewing either by hand or with a sewing machine.

Apart from this, among my friends I have a pretty famous dessert, a cheesecake! And I would be more than happy to share it with you too! :D
