Description
Hey, I´m Marlene - I am a very optimistic, and open minded person. I love reading, doing different sports, socializing, enjoying good food... Being outside, doing small or big adventures or also having a cozy time inside, playing games and drinking a wine together. :) I have a lot of humor and truthfully I am a honest, easy going non judging person that is gentle towards others, good at communicating and always eager to meet new people.
In previous workaways I have worked a lot in the garden, with different animals and in generall helping clear, clean, maintain and organize different spaces or even pour concrete on a construction side. I worked in restaurants and on farms, as stagehand or during my study in a library, so lots of different experiences :)

DIY, gardening, organizing, creative work, working with animals, being a sporty person I also don't mind harder work - I have gained lots of different experiences through my travels. I am good with all kinds of people through my work in the gastronomy and my training in a library.

Kate and Giorgio are both welcoming and open people. You can really tell the love and effort they put in the community and I highly enjoyed my stay! Marlene was a pleasure to have at the house. She's funny and full of energy. No job was too small or hard for her to complete and she had some fantastic ideas to help us improve our place.

She did some amazing work repairing and decorating our clothes as well.

10/10 would host her again.

Marlene is one of te funniest peson I've ever met. A beautifoul soul connection was immediately created and the time together passed very quickly.

Camilla, her whole family and her team are lovely, fun and overall so wholesome! Could not have wished for a better first workaway experience. The work was fun, the food was way too good (lots of pasta) and on the weekends we did adventures around the area. I learned much and will come back for sure!
