Hello everybody, and nice to meet you!

My name is Marius, and I'm from Frankfurt, Germany. After graduating in Economics and Data Science, I felt like it was time to do something different.

I recently discovered Workaway while looking for opportunities to step out of my comfort zone and see the world's special places and people. I'm eager to learn new things, help wherever I can, and get to know people from all around the world. But my main goal is to do something meaningful, to help others and bring different experiences and mindsets together to create something special.

I would describe myself as thoughtful, helpful, friendly, and curious. That curiosity is actually one of the main reasons I'm here on Workaway: I want to explore new places and experiences in life, and doing so while helping others feels like the best way to do it.

I'm a very active person: I love being outdoors, whether it's hiking, playing football or tennis, surfing, or cycling. But I also enjoy quiet moments with a good book, journaling, or some yoga.

I'm really looking forward to helping out in and around your house and garden, and getting to know all the animals around you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I spent 8 months abroad in Australia and Indonesia, where I gained a lot of experience in manual labor, working both in construction and in the technology sector. In general, I don't shy away from working outdoors in all kinds of conditions. During my time on a Swiss farm, I also learned how to correctly interact with herd animals and got used to spending whole days outside. Through several working student jobs, I gained knowledge in IT, which I'm more than happy to share and teach to others, helping people navigate the digital transition. From home, I know how much work it takes to maintain a big garden and keep it tidy, and I'm also skilled at interacting with and caring for children.
