Hi there!
We are Marit and Rike and study special education and social work in Hamburg.
We met in the first grade of primary school and have been going through life together ever since.
Before we moved to Hamburg, we grew up in a small village in northern Germany and had more cows than people as neighbours:) We love our home village and spending time in nature and still like to spend weekends in the countryside but for two 21 year olds, a big city like Hamburg has so much to offer at the moment!
What we both definitely have in common is our interest in people and the joy of working with people. Marit works in a residential home for people with disabilities alongside her studies and Rike worked for a year in a psychiatric clinic for people addicted to alcohol and drugs.
Before our studies became more time-consuming, we were both politically active for the Green Party. In the meantime, we are unfortunately less active there, as we both also work alongside our studies.
We like to use our free time for vegan cooking evenings with friends, day trips to the sea or to go running or swimming and long walks with our dogs, followed by coffee and cake!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Because I grew up with a dog and practiced horse riding for many years, I love all kinds of animals and spending time in the nature. I am studying "speacial education" because I also like to work with people, especially children with special needs. I am good at working with animals and children, because I am a sensitive, warm and responsible person. In addition I would say, that I am creative because I like painting and acting. Another hobby for me is cooking vegetarian food. I am very open and always interested to learn new things, even if I don`t have a lot of experience in it. Also I would like to work on my english skills to become more confident while speeking english.
