Hello !

Je m'appelle Marion, j'ai 32 ans, je suis architecte de formation mais aujourd'hui et depuis quelques années, je me tourne vers la menuiserie et le travail du bois.

Je suis familière de workaway puisque j'ai été nomade entre 2019 et 2021, allant de chantier en chantier en stop pendant plus de 2 ans !
J'ai principalement fait des chantiers participatifs d'éco-construction et de la permaculture. Ces deux années m'ont permis de rencontrer plein de personnes inspirantes et de découvrir des lieux incroyables.

Aujourd'hui, je me suis installée à Marseille et je suis de nouveau sédentaire. La vadrouille et la nature me manquent, alors je retente l'aventure de manière plus ponctuelle.

Hello!

My name is Marion; I’m 32 years old. I’m an architect by training, but for the past few years, I’ve been shifting my focus toward carpentry and woodworking.

I’m familiar with Workaway, having lived a nomadic lifestyle between 2019 and 2021—hitchhiking from one project site to another for over two years!
I mainly worked on eco-construction projects and permaculture sites. Those two years allowed me to meet so many inspiring people and discover incredible places.

I’m now based in Marseille and living a settled life again. I miss the wandering and being close to nature, so I’m giving the adventure another go—this time on a more occasional basis.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

i'm architect so I can draw plans of existing buildings and gardens and design new ones.
I did a lot of eco-construction workshops with many different techniques (mud or adobe walls, different types of fiber and straws insolation, dry stone walls etc...) as a worker to improve my technical skills.

I'm really interested in every kind of ecological and low tech concepts and I know some (solar dryer, solar water heater, dry toilets...)

Beside of that I'm also doing wood work and carpentry for interior design, so I know how to use many tools and machines. I still have a lot to learn about wood cause it's a really complicated and wide craft !

I attend some classes of permaculture so I know the basics of this very holistic concept that I try to follow in my life. I also garden a lot and have some interest in landscape design.

I love to do any kind of manual activities and I'm usually quite good at it. I’m nimble and like to do things in a proper way.

I’m now in a mood to improve my artistic skills and i try to draw as often as possible, i would be happy to paint or experience new tools !

I'm a good cooker when it's about veggies !
