Description

I'm a teacher (history), easy to get along with and sociable, always happy to get to know new people and places. I love nature, animals and adventures in the great outdoors (hiking, biking, camping etc.). This summer, I'll be hiking for a week in the alps (on the Italian side). After that, I would like to find a place in Ticino where I can work in nature and get to know the people and the area better at the same time. I've been to Ticino many times and was always amazed by the its beautiful mountains and valleys.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My professional expertise (teaching history) is probably not what Workaway hosts are usually looking for... However, I'm quite versatile and can help with many things. Last year, I worked on a berry farm for a few weeks and enjoyed it very much! I would love to work outside and learn more about gardening, farming and building stuff. I'm good at languages (fluent in German, English and Spanish, not too bad in French) and writing, so I could help with writing or translating texts. I also have a great camera and can take photographs that look quite decent. And I like to cook - and eat :-D.
