Hello everyone!
My name is Marie and I'm 21 years old. The most important facts that one should know about me are that I love nothing more than traveling around world always meeting new people and that I adore working with kids. Both of those things bring me joy wherever I am.
But as you may know traveling the world as a young grown up is quite expensive. So traveling with workway seems like an efficient way to see new parts of the world in less expensive way. Furthermore I'm not the person to go on a vacation and just relax somewhere. I'd much rather spent my days being active and helping wherever I can. In conclusion workaway seems a perfect way for young adults, such as me, to travel, get to know new cultures and and make new friends 😊

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
As I mentioned earlier: I love working with kids! And I do actually have a lot of experience in working with children. During 2021 I've worked in a primary school as a volunteer ten months. What I like most is the support I can give these children in the process of establishing new knowledge. Next to that the immediate and most times loving reactions of them genuinely brings me joy. In addition to that I have not only experience in supporting their learning processes in school but also watching them during outdoor and freetime activities due to my 10 years of being a scout and volunteering in a summer camp once a year.
Besides working with kids I enjoy learning new things myself. I'm very open-minded in many aspects. No matter if it's practical work or new ways of thinking. I have absolutely no problem getting my hands dirty and love working and just being outside.
Furthermore I love meeting new people. I've never been afraid of talking to strangers or being confronted with foreign speakers. I'm fluent in English, German and can speak a little Spanish. If needed I could even speak a few words in polish. And if non of these work I can communicate with my hands and feet 😉. But no matter where I am I would enjoy adapting new language skills. 😊
