Hello, my name is Majo.
I am an argentinian /spanish woman travelling and living abroad for the past ten years.
I am particularly interested in language exchange. I can teach English, French and of course my mother tongue, Spanish.

I love literature, so I am very into reading, writing and music. Big fan of cinema as well and any other artistic expression. I am a social person but I like being alone as well because I am used to it.
Very connected to nature and preferably with the ocean. My love for animals made me a vegetarian so I am happy to share recipes with you.
I am very interested in learning about plants, gardening and in a self-sustaining life and I would love to volunteer in animal care and I am always interested in working on social projects as I worked for many years in that field in Argentina and France.


Regarding COVID : I am fully vaccinated with 5 doses and I prefer to volunteer and work with people that are obviously also vaccinated. Thanks.

Hola, soy Majo.
Soy una chica argentina / española que dejó su casa en Buenos Aires hace más de diez años para ver lo que había allá afuera en el mundo. Tuve la suerte de viajar por todos los continentes y conocer gente que me ha ayudado mucho de forma vital y material. Viajar intensificó mi interés por aprender nuevos idiomas y leer literatura de todos los rincones del mundo.
En este momento estoy buscando un voluntariado / trabajo en Ciudad de México ya que estoy planeando mudarme allá. Me interesa mucho la historia mexicana y las lenguas de los pueblos originarios. Tengo además un proyecto sobre poesía que me gustaría concretar con gente de México.
Soy vegetariana y me gustan mucho los animales, las plantas, el cine, leer, escribir y el arte en general.
En relación al Covid : estoy vacunada con 5 dosis y quisiera trabajar con gente que también esté vacunada y lleve una vida responsable en relación a la situación pandémica. Gracias.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have plenty of experience being a language teacher and in hospitality as I worked many years in hotels and hostels all over the world (Argentina, Spain, Turkey, Malaysia, Slovakia, Hungary, Albania and many more). I used to use workaway until 2019 but then I stopped for a while because I was living in France for several years studying and working.
I speak fluently 3 languages so it's always really interesting to meet new people. I think I am able to listen to others and communicate with them.
I also worked for different NGO's where I worked with refugees so I am very keen to work on social projects involving a high adaptability.

Tengo mucha experiencia trabajando en hoteles y hostels de varios países con culturas muy diferentes como Turquía, Eslovaquia, Malasia, Albania, Hungría, etc.
Usé muchos años workaway pero luego lo dejé porque me instalé un tiempo en Francia para hacer una Maestría y trabajar.
Hablo tres idiomas de manera fluída y me interesa mucho conocer a otras personas y practicar otros idiomas que estudio de forma intermitente pero que me apasionan mucho.
Trabajé en distintas ONG donde pude poner en práctica muchos de mis conocimientos como politóloga y pude llevar a cabo proyectos educativos y de integración social con migrantes y gente en situación de vulnerabilidad social en Argentina y Francia.
