Hi my name is Maria , half spanish half peruvian, currently living in Azores- Portugal, working as a Marine biologist. I'm a lover of plants and animals. I really enjoy gardening , hiking, painting ,birdwatching , handcrafted and play the ukulele. I’m mommy of two deaf cats that I love with all my heart.

My pasion is to be at the ocean , sailing and freediving ….but for holidays I really want to learn new things, new challenges and to meet people .

I studied conservation biology and environmental management. My experience is working at the field in conservation projects with vulnerable species.I also worked as a fisheries observer in Tuna boats and right now I’m working in a whalewatching company. I don’t have any problem getting dirty and working in any environment at all. Maybe my big problem (improving) is sharing food when I really love it … and if it is desert hmm maybe no. :P

I consider myself very proactive,enthusiastic and without any problems of wake up early.

I’m very good of speaking in front of people and in environment education. Skills in video making and social media.

Hiking and gardening are my therapy as well Painting and repairing fornitures.

In my free time I play ukulele , do freediving and birdwatching.
