Hi everyone,

I’m Marianna, friends use to call me Mari.
I was born and raised in the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic, Prague.

Travelling, people and cultural exchange is my passion.

I am an animal, sport and music lover.
I have an experience with seasonal jobs in Norway in hospitality field, and as an au-pair (with homeschooling) in USA (NJ/NYC).

As a volunteer in my home country: asisstance to blind or the elderly/ disabled people, cleaning of parks (garbage, junkie stuff...), help in animal shelters.

I am naturally curious, always seeking to learn and experience something new, really oriented to self-development.

I'm not affraid to have my hands dirty. I generally enjoy physical work.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

The basis for life I got in Waldorf School (Rudolf Steiner School). Then I continued to study Art&Wood crafts. As my university field I chose Cultural Anthropology&Economy and finished with an engineering diploma. During my studies I also had a chance to attend summer school in Beijing, Tibet and Thailand.

The work field of mine is currently Human Resources but I have worked also as an Au-pair in the United States, and in Norway in the hospitality area couple times. Besided that also in clothes & design industry in CZ (have some knowledge of sewing, knitting and crocheting, visual merchandising...).

I am very social person, having good organizational skills, if possible I am detailed oriented.
Very careful and conscientious.
I would say I have good communication skills, I do really care about honesty and believe that everything can be solved by proper communication and openness.

I preffer to have things finished before leaving and done it correctly.

Cleaning is my way of relaxation so this is somethin I truly enjoy.

I like to be active and productive with an effective approach to work.

I speak Czech (native) and English (fluent) language. Happy to teach both :)

I am good in improvizing and to stay calm with finding a solution in a critical situations. I have a First Aid Course certification.

As said above, I have an experience of working with children and also elders.

I find satisfying helping others and do meaningful activities in general.

I have also experience with some general maintance and reconstruction or after floods cleaning and restoration.

I used to help to my parents, grandparents and friends with moving, painting rooms, repairing furniture, fence, roof, chopping wood, gardening, etc.

I also use to take care of dogs, horses and other animals - as an animal lover I really enjoy this type of work!

I really like any boardsport such as windsurfing, surfing, skate/longboarding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, etc. Apart from that I enjoy hiking and outdoor activities, loving the classics like watching sunrise/sunset, singing with a guitar around a fire with a group of friends…
