Description

Hi, I'm a French traveller, I've lived in New Zealand for 5 years and I'm now travelling Australia.
I've visited most of the east coast, from Melbourne to Cape Tribulation and I'm looking at spending some time in Tasmania for the spring/summer.
I usually work as a Chef but I love discovering and learning new skills.
I'm passionate about food, especially vegetarian and vegan, I'm always happy to learn new recipes and share cooking tips with others.
I care a lot about the well being of animals and I wish I could share more time with them, but my travelling lifestyle has made it a bit difficult.
During my free time, I enjoy going for walk/hike, camping, knitting and I love hanging out with friends and sharing interesting conversations. I've recently starting to practice yoga.
I would love to learn more about gardening, permaculture, and regenerative farming as I believe these are important skills for the preservation and restoration of our planet.
I'm planning to go back to France next year to study environmental science and ecology.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a big love for cooking, especially vegetarian food.
I have worked in a variety of agricultural jobs which include grapes, blueberries and mushroom farms where I assisted with bagging, incubation and picking.
I have woofed previously during the 2020 lockdown where I worked for a family run business, working in their organic gardens planting and harvesting. I also helped with property maintenance such as clipping trees and hedges cleaning fallen debris and chopping wood.
I enjoy learning new skills and ways of living and working and I consider myself quick learner and handy adaptable person.
I love being in contact with animals and looking after them, I grew up with cats, dogs and horses and have had 10 years experience with equine care and riding which I acquired in my teenage years.
