Description

Marc: I run a successful Design Business in South Africa, that works with clients to ideate, then bring to life their ideas. I will be travelling with my wife and two children (Girl 11 and boy 14) on a type of sabbatical in 2024/5. For the last year we moved to my brothers smallholding in Tsitsikamma South Africa, to live in community, try working away from the office/workshop and to grow plants, homestead, raise chickens, homeschool our kids and upgrade their land. I'm very capable with my hands and with planning, love fixing things, making things, and learn quickly. We have recently done an agroforestry course on the land and have around 17 laying hens. We are also making a camping facility, including plumbing, compost loos and showers. I'm happy to work hard, and I also have a business of 7 employees I'm running too, based in Cape Town. I love fishing in the sea, riding motorcycles, baking bread, cooking, I fly rc gliders, exploring, trail running, organising events. Myself and my wife are also very interested in developing our inner work we do together, and over this period are wanting to start exploring ways to bring this into the world.

Caitlyn: World schooling with our children is currently a big focus of mine. Alongside this I am an embodied dance facilitator, self mastery coach and birthkeeper. I play and intuitively grow and mix herbal products for body and soul wellness. I love being in nature and am always working on a craft project. I have been known to cater for gatherings, process foods such as ferments, preserves and pickles and generally love getting stuck into what ever is happening in the world around me.

We are currently in America, heading into Mexico, then central America, looking for aligned communities and individuals to share our knowledge, but mainly assist in helping your dreams flourish, with the added bonus of learning lots along the way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Marc has been working in design and making industry for 15 years. Love making, fixing, design. Able to do manual labour, working on buildings (some electrical and plumbing knowledge too), veg gardens, cutting paths, working with animals (a little experience but want to learn), driving, operating machinery, helping out with kids.
Caitlyn is a birthkeeper, self mastery coach & embodied dance facilitator. She has been attending births since her early 20's. Currently she is homeschooling , loves working in the garden, works closely with herbals, creating medicinal teas, oils and balms, loves pickling and processing food from the garden, crafts obsessively and holds women's circles.
