Hi, I am Mara from Germany. In my vacations I'm looking forward to open my horizon, especially learning new things and help wherever I can! Workaway is a chance to really get to know a country/mindset/culture and habits which I would love to do! Travelling and meeting other people is the best way to learn and to grow.
Workaway is learning for life and I can't wait to do it!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I already did a couple of workaways, because during vacation I do not just want to do some sightseeing, but really get to know the people in the country. Share moments together, get in touch, talk about things we're interested in.
I loved the workaways I could already experience, so when I arrive I'll already have an idea what "workaway" is about.
-I studyied "teaching" so I have an pedagogic background, worked with children and young adults and tryed out alternative teaching methods in a language summer camp.
-My gardening and farming skills were created during different workaway stays.
-Same with babystitting, which I did twice - once with 3 little girls and once with one handcaped baby
-I love cooking and baking - not so complicated things cause at one point I am not patient enough.
-I would say that I can adapt quiet easily new suroundings and circumstances

During our stay we felt like living in a hostel - meeting other travelers, eating together, doing daytrips together and work together. We learned a lot about farming and in general it was a great break to our daily life back home.
