I love anything outdoors! I spend my winters skiing and my summers hiking, climbing, camping, swimming. Other interests of mine are: thrifting, foraging, canning/perserving, gardening.

Hey there!

I am an art teacher looking to make the most of my summer holidays! I am travelling to Austria for 3 weeks with my partner Kevin, we are attending our friends wedding in Bad Ischl and looking forward to exploring the surrounding area.

I've had some amazing workaway experiences in Australia, New Zealand, and the west coast of Canada on Vancouver Island. Kevin has done wwoofing in Hawaii and New Zealand. We both love the experience of staying with locals and learning about farming/homesteading. My favourite part is the way it allows me to have a more intimate experience of the local area, slowing down and really taking time to be in a place.

I am up for doing all types of work although my preference would be something related to kids, animals, gardening/farm work, or creative projects. Once you give me a task I am quite happy to work independently but can just as easily work in a team. I am a hard worker who is willing to go with the flow. I'm happy to do physical labour & anything outdoors!

Kevin is a contractor by trade who renovates and builds homes. He has too many skills to list!! He is known professionally for his attention to detail and precision. If you have a building project of any kind he will do a beautiful job of it.

We are both passionate about sustainability and the environment, we would love to see how you homestead or live uniquely. We are dreaming up plans for my own collaborative homestead in the future. Look forward to meeting you :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked in a wide range of fields. A school teacher by trade I have great organizational skills and can work independently. I am very creative, my undergrad was in visual arts and I would be thrilled to help you with any sort of design or art related projects. I have decent Photoshop and web design skills. I have ample experience gardening, cleaning, nannying, house sitting, and love to cook. I am pretty much up for anything! Including labour/landscape type work.

My most recent workaway was at an apple orchard and I absolutely loved the meditative process of harvesting apples and cleaning up the orchard grounds.
