Hello!
My name is Juan Manuel, though everyone calls me "Manolo."
I am 37 years old and from Zaragoza (Spain).
I’m new to the world of Workaway, but I’m very excited to begin this journey!
I have always worked in the hospitality and tourism industry, serving as a manager for bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and similar establishments.
At the same time, I have always been passionate about art in all its forms—painting, architecture, sculpture, photography, theater, cinema, etc.—though music and writing take up most of my time!
Now that I’ve taken a break from my career, my goal—while focusing more deeply on my writing—is to experience other cultures and, most importantly, learn new languages!
I love to travel, but I often feel the need to spend more time in the places I visit; I believe this is the best way to do that while also learning new languages!
Beyond art, I am a devoted nature lover. I enjoy both the mountains and the sea, and I especially love sunsets, sunrises, and full moons.
That said, I also really enjoy big cities; I love getting lost in them, wandering the streets, and exploring them in depth!
I am a very extroverted, polite, and respectful person, and I am also very clean and organized. I would love to connect with like-minded people who share these values, as I believe cleanliness and order are essential for living together.

¡Hola!
Me llamo Juan Manuel aunque todo el mundo me llama "Manolo".
Tengo 37 años y soy de Zaragoza (España).
Soy nuevo en el mundo del Workaway pero tengo mucha ilusión por comenzar mi andadura!
Siempre he trabajado en la Hostelería/Turismo. Me dedicaba como Gerente a dirigir bares, restaurantes, clubs nocturnos etc.
Paralelamente siempre he sido un apasionado del arte en todas sus versiones, la pintura, la arquitectura, la escultura, la fotografía, el teatro, el cine etc, aunque la música y la escritura acaparan casi todo mi tiempo!
Ahora que he parado de mi trabajo, mi intención es mientras me dedico más a fondo a la escritura, poder conocer culturas de otros países y principalmente aprender nuevos idiomas!
Me encanta viajar pero siempre siento que necesito pasar más tiempo en los lugares que visito y creo que esta es la mejor forma de poder hacerlo y aprender otros idiomas!
A parte del arte soy un amante empedernido de la naturaleza, me encanta tanto la montaña como el mar y sobre todo disfruto mucho de los atardeceres, los amaneceres y las lunas llenas.
Aunque también reconozco que disfruto mucho de las grandes ciudades, me encanta perderme en ellas, callejear y conocerlas muy a fondo!
Soy un chico muy extrovertido, educado, respetuoso, muy limpio y ordenado; me gustaría encontrar personas y lugares afines en esos sentidos, la limpieza y el orden me parecen primordial para la convivencia.
Cualquier cosa que queráis saber sobre mi podemos hablar más tranquilamente, me encanta charlar y conocer nuevas personas!
