Hello there, my name is Maja and I am 21 years old. I’m an open-minded, positive, and active person who loves exploring new places and connecting with people from all around the world. I’m excited to join Workaway because I enjoy learning from others, discovering different cultures, and helping wherever I can.
I love being outdoors because nature gives me energy, and I’m always happy when I can be outside, whether it’s on the water while sailing or in the mountains to hike. I also have a big heart for animals and feel very comfortable taking care of them.
I enjoy spending time with children as well. I’m patient, creative, I love supporting kids in discovering the world in their own unique way and creating memories together.
Meeting new people is something I truly value, and I’m always curious to hear their stories and share experiences.
During my schooldays, I participated in a nature school project in Norway. I lived together with 40 other pupils and worked with around 30 huskys on a farm. The year in Norway was such a great experience, which I would love to have again (of course in a different setting) while working abroad.
At home I have lived together with 3 siblings as the eldest sister and I really love to always have others around. In our holidays we went sailing for some time, where I learned to love the freedom of just being on the water, sailing and enjoying live.
I’m reliable, open to learning new skills, and always happy to help with whatever is needed. I’m looking forward to getting to know you to get to new adventures and having a super great time. 😊

I've worked on a Huskyfarm for a year and I have different animals at home, so I have got a little experience with working with animals.
While playing basketball at home, I also leaded a team myself, which was very cool.
I am a runner and I love hiking, skiing (also cross-country ski) and sailing.
