Description

Maria, 25 years old, just moved to Canada on a 2-year working holiday visa. I love traveling and experiencing different cultures. I love the sea and rivers: kayaking and bouldering around them. I enjoy hiking drawing and reading. Most of my employment experiences have been in care and cleaning. Outside of that, I have been a member of the Irish Scouts Association since 2008 both as a scout and then as a Leader. I am extremely excited for what lies ahead in exploring Canada.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked in the Scouts for many years both as a Scout and as a leader (9th Doneal Muff Scout group). Where we hiked kayaked and explored many different areas along with growing crops and making our meals with tranges.I am great at communicating and empathizing with people I have experience working as a HCA (Health Care Assistant) back home in Ireland and in Northern Ireland. There I looked after the residents till they passed. I was involved in personal care - washing and dressing, along with helping with food and feeding them. During the day we did a lot of activities both indoors and outdoors depending on the weather and the resident's abilities. Since arriving in Canada I have been working in the Fairmont Springs Hotel in Banff, along with doing a few farm stays in British Columbia.
