Les activités qui m'intéressent :

I am interested in activities that involve learning the language and culture of the place I am visiting.
I love hot springs, exploring cities by foot, brunch, sunrises and sunsets and sailing.

Description

Described as the fun solo-traveling aunt, I bought a sailboat at anchor and moved on board, never having sailed a day in my life.

After living on, and sailing my Pearson 35 through Florida for a year. I sailed to The Bahamas for two months.

I sold the boat and spent last summer in Alaska (yep, I sailed a bit while I was there). I loved the state so much, I went back in the middle of winter and again the next summer.

I've also spent time in Jamaica, 4 months in Mexico City, and a year traveling the states in a sweet classic motorhome.

Currently in Washington state, I am in thebmarketing field by profession. Though, I have continued to feel the urge to travel the world solo. Because I enjoy helping others, Workaway is one way for me to safely explore the world while traveling "alone".

I am talkative and love laughing. Yet I am vested in my alone time, leading me to seek an environment in which I can also have solitude to reflect and grow.

Things that bring me happiness?

Photography. Videography. Learning new things. Movies. The sound of wind in the sails and the hull quietly swooshing through the water. Travel! Seeing a project I start come to fruition. Video graphics. Writing. Storytellers. Telling stories. Engaging/Posting on social media. Babies and puppies!

P.S. I've never done it, but I'd love to paint a mural!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Formally, I am a marketing manager. My focus is social media marketing. I absolutely love helping people create and execute great social media pages, without the need for paid advertising.

However, I would say I have a great deal of experience with kids, sewing (anything except clothing), cleaning (deep cleaning and Airbnb turnovers are my specialty), cooking (anything from simple, healthy meals to cakes and cookies), travel planning, sailing and sailboat maintenance and repair, photography and videography.

I have some experience with plumbing, electrical, mechanical troubleshooting, gardening and teaching.
