Actuellement, nous sommes

Description

We are Matteo and Stella, nature and sports enthusiasts and animal lovers. We are a fulltime remote working couple (food supplement industry & social impact start up) and have been on the road for the past 2 years - preferably with our van through Europe. Now we are heading off to a year-long sabbatical to different parts of the world to enjoy life away from our laptops for a while. We would like to add meaningful workaway stays to our itinerary. We care a lot about animals, sustainability, minimalism, plant-based eating and a healthy lifestyle in general and would like to learn more about permaculture, work with our hands (DIY, gardening, cooking, animal care) and get to know like-minded people across the world.

We love doing sports and hiking in the mountains or at the sea. We prefer nature over city life and enjoy remote tranquility. We love to help out local people and animals while we are exploring new countries and places.

While we do not have any workaway experience and reviews, we have a solid track record on TrustedHousesitters where we took care of people's homes and animals during the past 2 years.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Matteo's background is business and finance - if you need to help with some financial planning or an excel wizard - don't look further. I am also excited about cooking and baking, be it a typical Italian dish or baked goods. I love animals and taking care of them - especially cats are my weak spot.

Stella's background is psychology and organizational development - but I am happy to chat about the work of the mind in any context. With a decade long background in professional endurance sport, I have plenty of willpower and endurance and am not giving up quickly on challenges. I also coach and train people of all levels and ages in running & triathlon.
I am good at organizing and cleaning things and I would say I have somewhat of a green thumb. Just as Matteo, I love animals!

While we both do not have much experience with building and/or fixing things and working with tools in general (except for bike tools ;) , we would love to learn about it and practice.
