Hello! My name is Marta and I'm taking the first step to get out of my comfort zone and embark on a new adventure. I decided to join Workaway to improve my English, both for personal and professional reasons, and also to connect with new people and cultures.

I believe it is the simple things in life that fill us the most: family moments, enjoying a sunset, or preparing a homemade meal. For me, love and kindness are the forces that move the world, and I try to take this with me in everything I do.

Right now, I'm starting this journey alone, but my intention is, in the next opportunity, to also bring my children to share this experience and discover together new ways to live and grow.

I'm excited to meet new people, learn and contribute what I can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm a nurse by profession, something I do with a lot of dedication and passion.

I have an intuitive approach in the kitchen, enjoying the freedom to create simple and tasty dishes. I grew up in contact with the countryside, which makes me like to spend time in a vegetable garden or garden, despite not having great skills in the area. I like to learn and try different activities.

I consider myself an empathetic person, something that helps me create good connections and personal relationships. I believe that respect, understanding and openness to the other are essential for a healthy and enriching coexistence.

My English is level B1, but I hope this is not an obstacle to communicating and learning. I am motivated to improve every day, and I believe that this experience will be a great opportunity to grow.
