Hello hello! I am a barista and creative excited to spend a summer exploring Te Wai Pounamu to places known and new before settling into study at Ara in February!
I was raised in the Marlborough sounds for the first few years of my life, and then in central Otago, imprinting on me sounds of water, bird calls, bare feet, and an adventure!
I love learning about the flora and fauna around me, and taking the time to notice the small things. I am a very creative person spending my time sewing, painting, drawing, reading, writing, collaging, and pressing flowers!
I am studying Sustainability and Outdoor Education, wanting to focus on eco-tourism, conservation, school camps, and volunteer work!
I would love the opportunity to get any new skills, big or small, under my belt as well as meet likeminded people and spend time giving back to the earth that brings me so much joy!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've spent my time working various hospitality jobs, being a barista, kitchen hand, and all that comes with smoothly running a busy cafe. I love to try new things, and can apply myself well when working with my hands, enjoying machine and hand sewing, gardening, painting, hair cutting, and light mechanical work on cars with my father!
I am very keen to try my hand at anything, and gain new skills.
