Hi people of workaway!

My name is Lucy

I am 18 years old, currently living in the Netherlands (Dordrecht) with my parents and younger brother. My father is English and my mother is Dutch, so I am fluent in both languages. I just finished my last year of Dutch highschool, and am having a gap year this year before I go to university. I love exploring new places and helping people out, which is why I decided to sign up for workaway and travel in this year!

I love baking and cooking, and am currently working in a bakery in Dordrecht! I would love to learn more about these things or help out in these areas, but ofcourse this is not a must. In many things I am still a beginner, and since this is my first time doing anything like workaway I might take a bit of time to adjust, but I am very eager to learn and would love to pick up some new skills along the way!

Besides working in a bakery I have also done quite some babysitting since I was thirteen, so I know how to handle children, and love kids!

I am looking for new experiences, new skills to learn, new people to meet, and I want to make the most out of my gap year!

I have been babysitting since I was thirteen, love baking and cooking, and really like spending time with animals.

I would like to learn more about living a sustainable lifestyle, and growing, making, and preparing food. Other than that I am open to any other skills hosts may have to offer!

I also have a drivers license for a manual car

I love playing games, and can get pretty fanatical at times... Other than that I love listening to music and going to concerts, as well as singing myself!

I love spending time outdoors and can really enjoy nature, but I would love to spend more time outdoors than I do at the moment!
