Hello :)

I'm Louise from France.
I'm 26 years old. I am looking for a volunteering opportunity this summer in a surf camp/hostel/guesthouse, close to the ocean and waves. I've been travelling for 1 year in Asia and Turquie. I've been sleeping in hostels for that year and travelling and I'm now looking for volunteering opportunities to settle a bit longer, meet new people and enjoy slow travelling. I'm easy going, always down for a good talk and a night out or a chill movie night. I speak English fluently, and basic German and Spanish as well as French, of course :)
I'm also considering working in hospitality when I move back to France and would love to have the opportunity to learn and get more experience through volunteering work.
I have already done Workaway experiences in Sri Lanka in a surf hostel, where I was working with the guest, checking them in, organizing activities and dinners and making sure their stay was a great experience. Last year, I also worked 3 months in a surf school in Turkey, at the front desk. My job was to welcome customers, sell surf lessons and manage plannings with the surf instructors. I also taught a little bit of windsurf to kids and overall, made sure everyone was having the best time while staying at the school.
I've previously worked in stores, and was part of student organisations through my studies so I have the basics in terms of welcoming people, organizing events and being social and as for the rest, I'm willing to learn :) I also worked in marketing and communication, so if you're looking for someone to work on social media or anything related, I can help as well.
In my free time, I love hanging out at the beach, reading or surfing (or trying to ...)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can teach French and English, can work at reception, can help with cleaning tasks, organizing events, managing social media.
I studied communication and marketing and used to be in the student union, organizing events for students.
I also have various work experience, from McDonalds employee, to Decathlon advisor and international Marketing coordinator for a big company. I worked in Germany and am used to work in English on a full-time basis.
I'm curious and a fast learner so I can help with many things and would love to expend my skills :)
