Ciao! Welcome to my Workawayer profile! My name is Lorenzo and I am a 24 year old guy from Florence (Italy).

I have always loved establishing authentic connections with people from different corners of the world. Growing up, I've been lucky enough to live and study in three different countries—Italy, where I spent my childhood and teenage years; the US, where I took part in a one-year study abroad at the age of 17; and the UK, where I moved for university.

Whilst living in the United Stated, I attended a music high school as an exchange student and lived with an amazing 86-year old man who collected old cars and toys (yes, it is as unique as it sounds!). During my time abroad, I have developed what today I consider to be some of my greatest strengths: adaptability, enthusiasm to learn new things, and a positive can-do approach to my daily life.

After my exchange, I moved to the United Kingdom to study in University, and I've been living between Leeds and Florence for around 5 years now. I have recently completed my studies with a Masters degree in International Music Business, and I am now pursuing a career as a music composer for film and TV.

To this day, there is nothing more exciting to me than meeting and connecting with people who have different stories, cultures and homes. I find genuine happiness in contributing positively to people's lives, and I am hoping that my adventures with Workaway will provide new opportunities to expand my cultural horizons further—all that whilst hopefully making amazing memories!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a teenager, I had the opportunity to teach and share my passion for music with young kids aged 6-11.

At the age of 16, I worked as a tourist guide at Palazzo Vecchio, a landmark in my Italian hometown, Florence. This role allowed me to promote cultural exchange in my city, which was incredibly inspiring!

Finally, I am skilled in maintaining cleanliness and order. From tidying up living spaces to ensuring a hygienic environment, I genuinely care about keeping spaces clean and comfortable for myself and for the people I live with!
