Description

My name is Lorena, and I recently decided to travel through Latin America, starting from Patagonia, and then moving north. I will begin a master degree in 2025, and before that I will start this dream I had for a long time.

I love traveling, reading, cooking and gardening. When I travel, I like to learn about the history of each place, understanding the people who live there, how they think, and what makes them happy. And of course, the food! It's even better if I can learn by cooking alongside them. Exchanges are the most valuable thing for me.

I am happy when I am able to connect with people and when I am doing what brings me purpose, such as volunteering.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a degree in International Relations, with a specialization in gender based violence from a Latin American perspective. I am always seeking new knowledge, and taking courses on various topics. And in 2025, I will begin a master's program in the area of peace and development.

I've had different jobs, from consulting for impact entrepreneurs to serving as a gender focal point alongside a UN team. I conducted research for an NGO, created layouts as a designer, and also conducted accessibility tests on websites. I've been a babysitter, waitress, and worked on an ice cream shop.

I am flexible, friendly, and love working with multicultural teams, as most of my previous experiences were. I learn quickly, am organized, and what truly excites me is contributing to our society. I work with purpose, aiming to make an impact.
