Hello ! My name is Lola, I'm 22 and I graduated last year with a degree in geography, regional planning and the environment. I decided to do a gap year in 2024 in order to gain varied and enriching professional experience abroad. I've had the opportunity to travel to many countries as part of family trips, but I'd like to discover and learn about different cultures and ways of life by integrating with local people and professionals. I'm very open-minded, curious and always motivated to learn and acquire new skills in a variety of fields. I'm a willing, enthusiastic, serious and empathetic young woman, and I hope to develop other human and professional qualities through this experience.

I'm passionate about languages and cultures, and would like to experience the diversity of lifestyles around the world on the field. I enjoy meeting new people, exchanging ideas and learning from them.

I'm very excited to start the workaway adventure and I'm looking forward to meeting you :)

I would be very happy to teach French or share my culture with a variety of audiences. I also have a good level of English and Spanish and feel confident sharing my knowledge with beginners. I'm very interested in languages myself, and it would be with great interest that I would like to learn the basics of the languages spoken in the countries I'll be visiting.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've had a lot of experience with children, and I've always had a good relationship with them thanks to my empathetic qualities. I have also often been in contact with animals and feel confident working with them, even on difficult cases. I'm very interested in psychology, whether human, animal or even plant :)

Thanks to my studies in geography, I have a good knowledge of the environment and regional planning. I had the opportunity to do an internship on a project to revegetate an area, which enabled me to develop my qualities of teamwork, listening, teaching and understanding a large-scale project. I took part in field trips that made me want to take part in more real projects.

I've had a lot of theoretical experience, I'm versatile and this gap year would enable me to put these skills into practice within concrete projects. I've had a lot of human experience through the many trips I've made to different continents, and I'm now looking to gain professional experience abroad.

I'm always looking to enrich my skills and experience, and I'm ready to take on new challenges.
