I have been a world traveler for 35 years, learning through cultural immersion. I love to put learn from people and places, hear others’ stories, share meals, outdoor adventures, art and philosophy.

Description

I have been a world traveler and volunteer for over 35 years. Immersion in other ways of seeing and being in the world expands my perspective of what it means to be human. A lifelong explorer, I am motivated by rich connections with both the human and more than human world. Cultural immersion, dance, yoga, meditation, movement in nature, sustainable living, gardening, natural foods, animals, laughter, and contributing to community are some of the things that bring me daily joy and fill me with gratitude.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love working collaboratively, and have helped build gardens, farms, businesses, communities, and organizations. I am skilled at many kinds of work, from gardening and bread baking to writing and teaching. My career has centered on teaching leadership and nature skills and facilitating personal growth for youth and adults through an environmental education NGO I founded 20 years ago. I am also a mountain guide, and operate and manage several hospitality businesses. Along with stewarding and sharing with travelers the land I have lived on for 35 years, I’ve been fortunate to assist and manage farms, homestays + caring for animals in the US, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Italy, and the UK. I love learning from and with others, and am flexible and open to helping with just about everything!
