Description

I am Liset, 21 years old and live in a small village in the Netherlands. I have a bachelor’s degree in German language & culture with many extra Russian and Swedish courses. Besides my spoken languages listed below, I can also understand Norwegian and Danish. Before starting a Master’s degree in translation, I am taking a gap year to travel. I am currently training horses in Iceland and plan to travel to South America and Canada.
Foreign languages and cultures fascinate me and I love to travel to new destinations, mostly in nature but also cities with a rich history. It is always great to meet new people and share our culture/experiences.
Horses play a big role in my life and I love to be around them. I have 10+ years of experience around horses, and I have worked in the equine sector in different countries since 2022. This includes training of specifically Irish Cobs, Standardbreds (trotting horses), Icelandic horses as well as western riding, all general handling/training and farm tasks. Other (farm) animals can also expect a lot of love and attention from me, although I know less about their care.
I know there is always work to be done on a farm/in the outdoors, and I find a lot of pleasure in working on projects and repairs.
Everything I do, I do with full dedication and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I have an open personality and am always in the mood for a spontaneous new adventure.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Caring for animals, working around the barn, training/handling horses (all ages, also stallions), possibly cooking, some handywork. I love working outside but of course some chores inside is no problem. Would also love to share languages, culture, experiences etc...

I am an active person and like to be busy and explore. There is not a day where I only hang around inside the house, I always want to go out and do something. But I also definitely do enjoy to relax and listen to music, read a good book or watch a movie after a day of hard work.
I’d say I am quite easy to communicate with, I want to get to know new people and will speak up if I do(n’t) like something. I eat whatever is served.
