Hello, I am Lisa and I really enjoy connecting with other people and I like to enjoy the small things of life. Like, for example, growing my own food, building my own furniture or house, being in nature and doing things more slowly.
I grew up in an ecovillage in the south of Germany and attended a free learning school there. From the age of one and a half to six years old, my parents dragged me sailing all around the world, so I have a lot of interesting stories to share.
I finished school two years ago. Since then, I have been part of a self-organised internship, where I have built, together with six other young people, two tiny houses and I was part of a partnership with an architect. Together we planned an ecological community center for an association near my home village.
After the self-organised internship, I wanted to know more about wood working, especially about working in detail, so I did a seven-week internship in a carpentry.
I really enjoyed the experience and after my work and travel I would like to become a carpenter.I also worked in an ecological grocery store for half a year and I worked part time in a coffee roastery for over two years.
During school I founded, with two of my classmates, a student run Coffee Store and managed it for almost two years.
Directly before my trip I designed and produced bedside tables to finance my traveling plans.

I am a responsible person. When I start a task, I like to get it done. I appreciate direct and clear communication and I don't mind getting my hands dirty.

-Barista (I worked in multiple cafes and founded a student-run cafe)
-Adobe Illustrator and basic skills with video editing (I've designed a few flyers for friends and family and do a lot for myself)

Currently, my hobbies are reading books, doing aerial acrobatics and going for walks in the forest.
During my time in school I had more time for hobbies, I played soccer and volleyball, and I took horse riding classes.
