Hello there! 👋🌻

I'm Lisa Marie, a 21-year-old Italian university student with a genuine love for learning. My studies are focused on languages—specifically English, French, and Spanish—which are definitely one of my biggest passions. I find it fascinating how languages open up the world, and I'm always keen to immerse myself and practice whenever possible! I generally consider myself a sunny, reliable, calm and gentle person. I'm very easygoing and enjoy simple pleasures.

What truly motivates me and brings me a sense of happiness?
- Connecting with people: I absolutely love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I'm naturally very curious and feel that every experience adds something valuable to my life. I look forward to embracing new situations and challenges with an open mind.
- Working with children: I currently work at an elementary school, which is incredibly rewarding. I genuinely enjoy the time I spend with kids; we get along really well, and their honest energy is a wonderful thing to be around.
- Exploring and being outside: I love discovering new places, whether it's a bustling city corner or a quiet spot in nature. Simply being out in the open air is something I find very relaxing and refreshing.

My passion for languages naturally goes hand-in-hand with exploring. I'm always seeking opportunities to broaden my horizons and explore the world. I also have a huge soft spot for animals, especially my two "fur sisters" at home—my dog and my beloved cat! I love cats to bits and enjoy being around all kinds of pets.

In my free time, the best moments are spent with my family and my friends. We enjoy the simple things: going out for dinner, watching a movie, or just taking a walk downtown.
I'm searching for a Workaway experience that is enjoyable and fulfilling, where I can genuinely contribute and share good moments. I'm ready to lend a helping hand and look forward to the possibility of connecting with you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a dedicated Workawayer, I'm definitely not afraid to get stuck in and put in the effort. I believe in helping as much as possible, and I'm always looking for ways to be useful and proactive. I'm a very quick learner and easily adaptable to new environments and tasks. If there's something I don't know how to do, don't worry...I'm happy to learn and listen!
I'm reliable and maintain a sunny, easygoing attitude, which helps me connect with different people.
As an italian university student specializing in languages, I have strong (but not perfect!) knowledge of: English, French and Spanish! I'm always keen to practice my language skills and I'm interested in helping out with any language-related tasks you might have!
In addition to that, I currently work part-time in an elementary school, so I have significant, recent experience with children. I'm very comfortable and enjoy being around them. Whether it's helping with basic supervision, keeping them entertained, or just being a friendly face, I love the energy they bring!
I'm happy to assist with various general household tasks and any simple projects you might have. Furthermore, given my massive love for animals (especially my cat and dog back home!), I'd be more than happy to help with pet-sitting, feeding, or walking your furry friends. I'm very comfortable and responsible with pets!

Ultimately, my main goal is to be a genuinely helpful and contributing member of your home or project. I'm looking forward to using my energy and skills wherever they're needed most!
