Hi! My name is Lisa, I’m 26 years old and from the Netherlands.
I have a bilingual high school diploma and studied 2,5 years of Social Legal Services and one year Art History. This past year, I’ve spent a lot of time traveling on my own, exploring new things and learning more about myself and the world around me.
I’m still figuring out what I want to do in the future, so I’m trying different experiences. I went skydiving, and I’m currently taking a woodworking course. I love being creative: drawing, painting, and cooking are some of my favorite things to do. I also really enjoy music and spending time with people.
Next year I'm planning on studying again, but before that I’d love to gain new experiences through Workaway; meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and developing new skills along the way. I’m also hoping to improve my language skills and would love to learn a new language, preferably French or German, since I already have a basic understanding of both.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a handy and practical person who enjoys learning new things and helping out wherever I can. I’m good at assembling furniture and fixing small things around the house. For example: I’ve replaced taps, changed car tires, and I’m generally confident with DIY tasks.
I speak Dutch and English fluently, and I’d be happy to help someone practice either language. I also have basic knowledge of German and French.
I enjoy cooking and can prepare a variety of meals. I’m creative and I like painting and drawing, but I can just as well paint walls or help with other household projects.
I have some experience with gardening and basic knowledge of plants. Above all, I’m a quick learner and always eager to pick up new skills
