**** Currently looking for a workaway position in Sao Paulo starting mid March *****

Hello future hosts,

After having been proper adults with jobs, energy bills, and never-ending appointments for a bit, we have decided it was time to hit the road again and go somewhere completely different. This is us:

Julia:
I am originally from Germany but currently live in the UK (Ro is to blame for that). I have done lots of workaways in the past and have made some amazing experiences along the way. I helped out on a farm in Ireland, hostel in Alaska, building site in Belgium, homestead in Canada, and a few others. In my free time I enjoy climbing, hiking, snowboarding, but also more relaxing activities like reading, writing, cooking, sewing and knitting. I'm gonna make an amazing grand-ma one day.

Ro:
I am from the UK and like all British people have a great sense of humour. I love working on all kinds of building and renovation projects and rarely stop talking about them. Blame my Civil Engineering Degree for that. I have never done a workaway but have been involved in other volunteer projects in the past. I'm a passionate climber and avid skier.

Mino:
I am from Spain and used to be a street dog until Julia found me six years ago. I am a well travelled dog and love human attention. When I'm not busy snoozing on the sofa, I love going for walks and playing with balls. I am roughly ten years old and am getting more and more chill in my old age.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Between us we have accumulated quite a lot of skills. In the past year, we converted our van into a camper with full insulation and a solar panel, we renovated a three-bedroom house and converted a studio flat into a one-bedroom flat.
We both know how to use power tools, Ro is good at the planning and thinking, recently learned a lot of electrical work stuff, moved some doorways around, knocked down a few walls and built new ones. Julia loves doing work that requires attention to detail, like painting and carpentry, she learned how to plaster on this project and enjoys garden work.

We both try and re-use existing materials as much as possible and love the challenge of making things work with the materials we could gather on tip runs and facebook marketplace.

Our ideal workaway is a place with loads of potential for being creative and turning a space around. The more other workawayers, the merrier :)
